Central Medical Group provides 24/7 care for our patients, with the after-hours component provided in conjunction with two other Wodonga clinics, Federation Clinic and Wodonga West Medical Clinic. This service is only available for the registered patients of these three medical practices.

After Hours Contacts

To contact the doctor on call please ring 02 6024 3233 after 6:00pm weekdays or any time on the weekends or public holidays.

All our doctors on call work throughout the week in one of these three clinics and are very experienced in general practice. The doctor will assess your urgent clinical needs over the phone, provide you with support and if appropriate organise a consultation.

After Hours Fees

The usual call out fee for an urgent consultation is $170.00 for a standard consultation, which after the Medicare rebate leaves a $40.20 out of pocket cost. An up-front payment is required at the time of the consultation and unfortunately the Medicare rebate cannot be immediately processed.

Central Medical Group's After Hours Service is provided by doctors who are experienced and qualified GPs, and some GPs in training. As such we believe that the $40.20 out of pocket cost is a reasonable cost for an after-hours consultation.

Following an after-hours consultation with this service your medical record is fully updated so your usual GP knows exactly what has occurred and can follow through.
