Brooke is a Credentialled Diabetes Educator and Registered Nurse, and recently joined the CMG team. Originally from the Northeast, Brooke completed her Nursing degree in Melbourne and completed a post graduate certificate Rural Critical Care, which lead her to work in speciality areas such as, intensive care and emergency for more than 10 years. Brooke has also completed a certificate in Diabetes Education, this is where she has found a new passion for supporting people living with diabetes.Brooke has experience in working with all types of diabetes, including Type 1, Type 2, gestational and pre diabetes. In her spare time Brooke loves to cook and spend time in her veggie garden with her family.

My name is Katie Fearnside and I am a Credentialled Diabetes Educator and Division 1 Nurse. I have been supporting people with diabetes on the border for 5 years now, and I am very passionate about all thing’s diabetes!
I work across Albury and Wodonga Hospitals, in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, and run my clinic here one day a week. My day here involves seeing people with Type 1, Type 2 and Gestational Diabetes, as well as those individuals with pre diabetes.
